The energy I feel from Nature and that I pick up from people blows me away.
Energy that gives me joy or energy that scares the pants of me.
in my imagination these impressions take on colour and form and manifest ,images created in the hypnogogic state , the bleeding edge between imagination and reality.
This is my way of expressing the beauty and sometimes terror and darkness I feel in our shared human existence.

ABOUT MY WORK
My work is Abstract/figurative in oil, acrylic and mixed media. The work is mostly on canvas, board and paper.
Colour is a major part of my process, chosen to express what I feel is the energy of the work. I work intuitively, colours form first followed by form; these develop in my imagination to portray how I feel about my world as I experience it.
Currently I am interested in developing new work , experimenting with clay figures, paintings and paper.

About me
I have a Postgrad certificate in Printmaking from the University of Wales, Newport. I have studied painting and printmaking at various courses at St Martins, Chelsea school of art and the San Francisco Arts institute.
I have exhibited in London, Bristol, Miami and New York, with work projected in Times square, and in Australia at galleries in Tasmania, Melbourne and Sydney.
My screenprint 'Famous Nudes' is held in the print and drawing collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum London.
I currently work from my studio in Hepburn Shire Victoria and am making work for a new show in 2027.
